I have been using Bayden Slickrun for over a year -- and I just discovered Guillotine.  Guillotine has some distinct advantages over Bayden Slickrun -- what I like the most (so far) is the directory navigation.  Intuitive and powerful.

Slickrun, however, is much more customizable.  In Slickrun, you can define your own macros for launching applications (or groups of applications) with command line arguments.

Also, Slickrun remembers the last paths you entered -- so as you type a path, it does a very good job of "guessing" where you want to go/which file/app you want to launch.

When Guillotine allows for the level of customization available in Slickrun -- I'll be moving switching from Slickrun to Guillotine.

Thanks for the feedback. Slickrun has been around much longer than Guillotine and does have some nice features. When I was laying out the feature specs for Guillotine, I took a look at all of the similar applications out there, including quicksilver on the mac, which seems to have the most features. I then picked those features which I could quickly add and which would allow me to get Guillotine up and running and useful. I also wanted to build a good foundation to add all of the features I had planned. Both of the features you are referring to I have planned... I just haven't gotten around to them yet.   rolleyes
