But i have a realy strange problem, i can't open ".lnk" files.
for example:
i type in "putty", Guillotine shows the putty.lnk from my start menu, but it won't open.
i only get the typical windows error sound.
I think this is a problem of my noti, because on my desktop it works flawless.
The Problem only occurs with Guillotine, using the link from startmenu or explorer just starts the corresponding tools without any errors.
So to solve my problem it would be helpfull if guillotine has some kind of an error or debug log. Is there some way to activate loging?

Olly
I had this same problem and fixed it. Although I am not real happy about the fix. The desktop shortcuts have a little "arrow". I have a program that adjust the registry to remove the shortcut "arrow". When this arrow is gone then Guillotine is not able to launch the Start Menu programs. The arrows are now back and am able to launch programs through Guillotine. This problem also accrued with PC Magazines StartEase (there is more detail in their forum). Is there a way to make this work and remove the shortcut "arrow"?
Thank you,
