Download it here.

* Fixed Opera plugin looking in opera profile folder
* You can now use relative paths in the FileSystem plugin
* You can now use the following psuedo-environment variables in the FileSystem plugin, which will expand to their corresponding paths on your system: %START_MENU%, %START_MENU_ALL%, %MY_DOCUMENTS%, %DESKTOP%, %DESKTOP_ALL%, %RECENT%, and %QUICK_LAUNCH%
* FileSystem extensions now upgraded to full file filters (i.e. can now use wildcards like: *.exe and *work*.doc)

Hi,

Can any one give me a example how to use and configure the feature %START_MENU% and *work*.doc on the "File system preferences" dialog box?

Thanks in advance.

Congratulations for this OUTSTANDING piece of software!

Sure. In the File System prefs page, you can either enter a hard coded path to your start menu/desktop/etc (e.g. C:\Program Files\YourName\Start Menu), or you can use %START_MENU%. This allows you to put Guillotine on a jumpdrive and run it from any machine you plug it into, since %START_MENU% will expand to the path of the start menu of whatever machine you are on. If you delete Guillotine.xml and restart Guillotine, they'll all get added for you.

As for using things like *work*.doc, this works similarly to a regular Windows search, where you can search for things by using wildcards (* and ?). So *work*.doc will match files called "MyWork.doc" and "WorkFromHome.doc". Previously, Guillotine would only do an extension match (i.e. it would only look for files with matching extensions).

The feature %START_MENU% is now working. Thanks. The problem was not to put the *.lnk in the "filter" field.  grin

For the feature like regular Windows search, still doesn't work for me. When I use, for example, "*.doc" I have zero results, but on File System Preferences I have "*.doc" on filters filed.... But when start typing any name file with .doc extension I have a match result.

That is how it's supposed to work. Right now, Guillotine doesn't do any wildcard searching on what you type in the input box. I'm considering adding this in the future, though nobody has asked for it before.

FYI... if you specify no filters for a directory, all files will be searched.

Hope that helps.
